Wednesday will start out very cold, but there is hope in sight as we near the weekend.

A wind chill advisory will remain in effect for nearly all of Northern Montana though Thursday.

Wind chill temperatures in this region will have the potential to be as cold as 35 degrees below zero.

Daytime highs are finally anticipated to climb above freezing in Great Falls over the next few days.

A shot of colder air will drop into the state on Friday.

This will open the door for mountain snow and a few flurries in the plains.

High pressure will allow for temperatures to continue climbing as we head through the weekend.
