Cold air will return to Central Montana Saturday night allowing for temperatures to fall below freezing.

Spotty showers are expected in the plains with snow likely above 5,000 feet.

A slight wintry mix can't be ruled out for Central Montana overnight, but very little if any accumulation is likely.

The greatest snow accumulation will remain in Southwestern Montana, and in the mountains.

Temperatures will warm to the high 40s on Sunday under partly cloudy skies.

Following a few morning showers, Sunday will remain mostly dry.

Temperatures will gradually warm as we enter a new work week.

Winds are expected to ramp up on Tuesday just ahead of our next storm system.

Moisture is on track to return on Wednesday.
