A few lingering shower are likely on Thursday, most of which will remain in the higher elevations.

Temperatures will remain cooler with most areas staying in the mid 70s.

High pressure will rebuild as Friday rolls around; this will allow for mostly clear skies and temperature in the mid to high 80s.

The hotter weather is expected to stick around for most of the day Saturday; however, a few late day showers and thunderstorms are possible.

On Sunday our next big rain maker moves in.

This system is expected to kick off heavy rain Sunday afternoon and evening.

The heavy and widespread rain will continue well into Monday.

Forecast models are somewhat inconsistent as to when this system will move out.

As of now it appears we will receive rain through at least Tuesday before drier air moves in on Wednesday.
