Temperatures will continue to climb on Friday with daytime highs reaching the high 50s.

With the warmer temperatures comes more wind today.

On average North Central Montana is expected to experience wind gusts around 30 to 40 mph.

The Northern portions of the state around Cut Back are expected to have the strongest winds.

The wind should let up overnight as a cold front drops into the state.

This cold front will kick off a wintry mix early Saturday morning.

Along with the moisture, this system will keep daytime high temperatures in the low 40s.

Much stronger high pressure will build on Saturday.

This will allow for clearing skies and temperatures to climb well into the high 60s next week.
