Cooler than average temperatures and scatted showers will continue on Friday.

Showers will remain a bit more scatted throughout Central Montana today with South Central Montana catching the brunt of the rain.

Some mountain snow is likely over night, primarily for Southwestern and South Central Montana.

A few lingering showers are likely Saturday morning; however, conditions are expected to dry up as the day plays out.

Temperatures will reach the mid 60s on Saturday and low 70s on Sunday.

Central Montana looks to remain dry through Wednesday of next week with temperatures trending a bit more average.

A significantly cooler air mass is expected to invade the state late next week.

Along with the cooler temperatures, this system looks to offer up more rain and maybe even some snow.
