Temperatures will stay above average despite the passage of last nights cold front.

The wind that kicked up overnight will taper off as the day plays out.

Temperatures today are expected to reach the low to mid 40s throughout Central Montana.

High pressure will rebuild as Wednesday rolls around, allowing for mostly clear skies and breezy conditions.

This pressure system combined with the wind, will drive temperatures to the mid to high 40s Wednesday afternoon.

Thursday will trend a bit cooler as a batch of colder air slides in to the state.

A few late day showers are likely for a good portion of Central Montana with a wintry mix overnight.

The mountains especially into southwestern Montana are expected to pick up some snow accumulation.

Although still above average, temperatures will trend a bit closer to normal on Friday.

Yet another passing cold front is expected to kick up the wind on Saturday.

At this point the cold front is expected to dry with the greatest impact being the wind.

Another ridge of high pressure is on track will build as we head into the new work week.
