This morning is starting out a bit chilly, with temperatures in the 40s and low to mid 50s. You may want to take a light jacket with you as you head out the door.
Today will be a beautiful day, so take advantage of it and spend some time outdoors. Expect abundant sunshine, mainly dry conditions, and pleasant temperatures, with highs in the mid to upper 70s and low 80s.
In northeastern Montana and in eastern portions of north-central Montana, it will be breezy today with sustained winds of 10 to 25 mph and occasional gusts up to 40 mph. A LAKE WIND ADVISORY is in effect for Fort Peck Lake until 6pm. Elsewhere, there will just be a little breeze around today with sustained winds of 5 to 20 mph.
Tuesday will be partly cloudy and mostly dry, just a few isolated showers and thunderstorms around the Helena area during the evening as some monsoonal moisture begins to return. Temperatures will be warmer, climbing back into the 80s, and it will be a little breezy with sustained winds of 5 to 20 mph.
It is going to be partly to mostly cloudy on Wednesday and there are going to be some scattered showers and thunderstorms around during the afternoon and evening. Highs will cool slightly into the mid to upper 70s and low to mid 80s. It will also be breezy, with sustained winds of 10 to 25 mph and gusts up to 40 mph.
Thursday will be another breezy day, with sustained winds of 10 to 25 mph and gusts reaching 40 mph at times. Temperatures will remain pleasant, with highs in the 70s and low 80s, under partly to mostly sunny skies. Most locations will stay dry, although a few isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible during the afternoon and evening.
Friday and Saturday will feature beautiful weather with plenty of sunshine, mainly dry conditions, and pleasant temperatures as highs are going to be in the 70s and low to mid 80s in most locations. There is also only going to be a little breeze around on these two days.
On Sunday, a passing disturbance will bring partly cloudy skies and the chance for a few afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the 70s and there will just be a little breeze around.
