High winds have begun across the region, which has prompted several watches and warnings to go into effect through Monday. Gusts to 65 mph across the plains is possible, with areas near the Rocky Mountain Front gusting to near 85 mph.

A Blizzard Warning is in effect for the Northern Rocky Mountain Front through 11 AM on Tuesday. Some areas could see anywhere from 10"-20" of snow. The new snow combined with 75 mph wind gusts will create blizzard conditions with visibility nearing zero. Travel will likely be difficult to impossible in this area. Further west a Winter Storm Warning is in effect for 3"-7" of snow near Marias Pass, with other areas seeing around 2" of new snow. Blowing and drifting snow will be a problem in these areas as well.

Temperatures will moderate to near 50 degrees on Monday, however another system will impact the region on Tuesday. This will bring another chance for precipitation for the mountains and lower elevations. This system will also drop our temperatures to below average for most.
