HERE’S A LOOK AT THE FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 7 DAYS:

TODAY: We do look to cool off in terms of temperature into the mid 80’s. There are some chances for afternoon showers and thunderstorms primarily in the far Southern parts of our viewing area. Otherwise, we will be partly to mostly cloudy throughout the day. Winds will be out of the Southwest from 10-15 mph with gusts anywhere from 20-30 mph.

TONIGHT: It will be a little cooler tonight with lows ranging from the upper 50’s to low 60’s. There will be some chances for lingering showers and storms overnight before we clear out Friday morning. Winds will remain breezy out of the Southwest.

TOMORROW: The main story of the day will be the wind out of the Southwest at 15-20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. Temperatures will once again be a little milder in the low to mid 80’s. Eastern Montana will be near 90 degrees. Mostly clear to start the day but we will have some increasing cloud cover as we head toward the afternoon hours. Our viewing area should remain dry though.

SUNDAY: Temperatures start to dip into the mid to upper 70’s for daytime highs. There will be mostly cloudy skies to start the day becoming more overcast into the late afternoon. There is a disturbance that will make its way in from Canada and bring some rain to our viewing area during the evening. Heaviest amounts of precipitation will be in Northwestern parts of our area. Winds will be breezy out of the North at 10-15 mph with gusts to 25 mph.

MONDAY: The cooling trend looks to continue as we head into the start of the work week. High temperatures look to be in the low to mid 70’s. Winds out of the Southwest at 10-15 mph with gusts to 25 mph. Partly to mostly cloudy for a duration of the day with a chance for a lingering morning shower.

TUESDAY: Clear skies to start the day before some clouds roll in for the afternoon. Temps will be in the low to mid 80’s for the duration of the day. Winds will be blustery once again out of the Southwest at 10-20 mph with gusts to 30 mph.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny skies to start the day. We do look to warm back up at this point with temperatures nearing the upper 80’s to the 90-degree mark. Winds will be out of the West at 10-15 mph with gusts to 25 mph.

THURSDAY: The heat starts to make a return as we head towards the end of the work week with most locations looking to be anywhere from the low to upper 90’s. We do look to be under clear skies. Winds will be out of the Southwest at 5-10 mph.
