An area of low pressure will continue to wrap moisture over the Treasure State on Wednesday.

Forecast models have backed off a bit on the anticipated rainfall.

Eastern Montana is expected to catch the brunt of this system, likely receiving well over an inch of rain.

Central Montana should receive around a quarter of an inch of rain.

Temperatures will struggle to reach the 60s for most of the state.

Warmer and drier air will return to the state on Thursday.

Daytime highs will be about average ranging in the low 70s for most.

The weekend looks to bring plenty of sun and temperatures in the mid to high 70s.
