Strong wind that blew in with a cold front on Friday will gradually ease up through the course of the weekend with most areas looking at light wind by Sunday. Saturday will be cooler and blustery with strong west wind. Highs will drop into the 50s and 60s. The wind will be strong through the afternoon with gusts generally between 20-40mph. The wind will be lighter by late Saturday evening. Saturday night will be chilly with lows down in the 30s. Sunday will be partly to mostly cloudy with highs in the 60s to around 70, and much lighter wind. A few isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible late Sunday into Monday. Next week will be fairly typical for late September and early October, with some wind and highs in the 60s to around 70.
