Strong winds will help to bump temperatures well above average on Wednesday.

Sustained winds of 15 mph are likely for most of Central Montana today.

Stronger wind gusts are likely between Cut Bank and Great Falls.

Temperatures are expected to reach the high 60s and even a few low 70s throughout our area.

The wind will remain strong through Friday as multiple weather disturbances move through the state.

A cold front will offer up a few showers and mountain snow on Thursday.

Most of the rain is expected to stay south of Great Falls more into Helena, with a few showers making there way into Lewistown.

Winds are expected to be more sporadic and gusty with the passage of this front.

Friday and Saturday will trend much cooler.

Mountain snow is likely with just a slight potential of a few spotty showers in the plains.

Sunday will offer up a much better chance of rain and mountain snow as yet another cold front passes through the state.
