Police are investigating what was initially reported as a domestic disturbance in Great Falls.
It happened at a home on the 500 block of 22nd Avenue NE just before 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.
On Monday morning, the Great Falls Police Department confirmed that the incident involved at least one gunshot.
As of this morning, one person remains hospitalized at Benefis Health System.
The nature and extent of the person’s injuries has not been disclosed.
Police say that there is no danger to the public.

We have received several unconfirmed reports that people in the area may have heard gunshots, but the GFPD has neither confirmed nor denied that there was a shooting.
Police officers at the scene told KRTV that the two people involved in the disturbance are now both at Benefis Health System hospital.
The nature and extent of any injuries has not yet been disclosed.
As of 10:15 p.m., police officers are still at the scene, and crime scene tape surrounds the house.
Police say that there is no danger to the public.
