Several people have contacted KRTV about the status of Tracy’s Family Restaurant in downtown Great Falls.
The iconic restaurant is located at 127 Central Avenue, and has been in business for decades.
At one point, it was open 24 hours a day, but in recent years has been operating from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Several weeks ago, some unexplained brief closures had some people wondering if it was still open.
On Thursday (May 31), KRTV received several messages from people stating that it apparently has closed permanently.
We have called several times – both the business number and the owner’s cell phone – and no one has answered.
We have knocked on the locked door, but no one has answered.
We have sent text messages to the owner and also to a man who says that he was just laid off from the restaurant due to it being closed, but have not yet received any replies.
We will update you when we find out what is happening.
