Power outages are currently affecting several towns along the Hi-Line and Highway 2.
According to NorthWestern Energy’s website, customers in Inverness, Rudyard, Hingham, Gildford, and Kremlin are without power. We have received reports that Joplin is also affected.
About 800 customers are affected by the outages.
"Customers" refers to a business or a residence, so the number of people without electricity can be higher than the figure reported.
NorthWestern Energy’s estimated repair time for all of the areas is 10 p.m.
The cause of the outage is unknown at this time.
