A Great Falls man was surprised last week with a car for him and his family.
Olive Main has been getting help with transportation to and from work through Family Promises.
He came in to do some paperwork at Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Great Falls but he did not expect to be getting a car.
The dealership surprised him and his family with a Honda Accord.
Main says Family Promises has been there for him and his family since his family came to Montana.
“We moved up from New Mexico and we were homeless there. We scraped up enough money for a bus ticket because I have family out here. Things weren’t working out there. I went to Family Promise and they took us in right away. They said there was a waiting list and it was hard. They helped us a lot and they still are,” Main said.
Family Promise is a non-profit, interfaith program that provides a community response to homeless children and their families with children through shelter, meals, and comprehensive support services.
