BILLINGS — Police are searching for three suspects who ran away after a two-car crash on Grand Avenue and 12th Street West in Billings shortly before 4 p.m. Sunday.
Billings Police Sergeant Brett Becker said the three people who ran away from a white Toyota Camry were a black man in his 30s who was driving, a white man also in his 30s, and a white woman.
Becker said the Camry was southbound on 12th Street West approaching the intersection with Grand Avenue at a high rate of speed.
The Camry didn't slow down for the stop sign on 12th Street West before traveling out onto Grand Avenue.
The Camry t-boned a westbound Chevrolet Captiva in the right hand lane of Grand Avenue. The force of the impact caused the car to flip on its side.
The Captiva was occupied by a Billings man who was taken to a hospital as a precaution, Becker said.
Police found alcohol bottles in the Camry and said that the vehicle is registered in Big Horn County, Becker said.
