Woman arrested in connection with the robbery of a Bigfork casino

KALISPELL — Samantha Starks has been taken into custody in connection with the robbery of a Bigfork casino last month.

The Flathead County Sheriff's Office reports that Starks was taken into custody on Tuesday for her possible involvement with the November 12 robbery at the Jackpot Casino.

Starks admitted to her involvement, and was booked into the Flathead County jail, according to the Sheriff's Office.

The investigation into the robbery -- which forced a lock down at Bigfork schools -- is still underway.



(NOVEMBER 12, 2019) Schools in Bigfork are under lock-down for safety precautions, after a woman reportedly robbed a casino at gunpoint on Tuesday.

Flathead County Sheriff Brian Heino tells MTN News they are attempting to find the person who robbed the Jackpot Casino on Highway 35 Tuesday at around 9:25 a.m. There were no injuries reported.

Sheriff's deputies and a Two Bear Air helicopter are in the area looking for the suspect. It is unknown at this time if the suspect left on foot or vehicle.

The woman is described as 5'2"-5'6", brown hair, black puffy coat, jeans with holes in front, brown Ugg-type boots, and a black beanie hat with design.
