Sunday morning, the Montana Highway Patrol and Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call reporting a hit and run crash at the Espresso to Go coffee stand located in the parking lot of the Korner Club in Four Corners.

The pickup truck that hit the coffee stand was hauling a horse trailer, which ended up striking the stand, and causing a brief electrical fire near the entrance while somebody was working inside.

The driver ended up leaving the scene, heading eastbound in Bozeman on Huffine.

Montana Highway Patrol ended up locating the truck and stopping the car on 19th and Beall.

MHP performed a crash investigation, and a DUI investigation.

The driver of the pickup was arrested for driving under the influence, and MHP says drug usage could also be a factor in the crash as well.

According to MHP, the property owner is reporting significant damage.

The worker in the coffee stand was able to get some video of the incident and provided a detailed description of the fleeing truck.

MHP says the description was helpful in locating the truck quickly.
