A new local business in Great Falls is making custom products while also giving back to the community.

Minuteman Metal & Sign is located at 815 2nd Street South and sells custom made metal, wood, leather and soap products.

Everything sold at the store is made right here in the Electric City.

They make custom products, including going away gifts, things for your office, hidden-compartment boxes and much more.

Owner William McDaniel said, “We make things you’re passionate about. We don’t limit what we can and can’t make.”

They will ship to anywhere across the world.

They are also trying to give back to the community through their work.

“We’ve raised nearly $10,000 for local charities to include the Great Falls Police Protection Agency and also Make a Wish Montana and that was just through two of our items that we donate,” William said. “Charities like Honor Flights, who fly vets to different places they’ve served. Absolutely just an incredible feeling to give back to the men and women who serve us.”

William has only been making custom products like these for the past two years, but he is passionate. He said he has spent multiple weeks perfecting certain projects.

Minuteman Metal & Sign just opened its doors a few weeks ago.

They are open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. They are closed on Sundays.
