(UPDATE) Great Falls Fire Rescue Great said in a news release on Tuesday that the fire was in a shed; all occupants were safely out of the house when firefighters arrived.
The shed, which was located along the alley, next to the house, was fully engulfed in flames. The fire also entered the attic space of the garage and was extending into the rest of the home.

Firefighters were able to apply water to the shed and the exterior of the garage, and crews entered the house and were able to get the fire extinguished in the attic, stopping it from spreading to the rest of the house. GFFR crews achieved fire control in roughly 10 minutes.
The fire caused significant damage to the exterior of the garage and smoke damage throughout the house.
The cause of the fire has been determined to be accidental in nature.
The family living in the home was able to stay with friends and family for the night.
(1st REPORT) Emergency crews are at the scene of a structure fire in Great Falls. The fire was reported at about 5:40 p.m. on Monday August 25, 2025.
It is at a residence along the 600 block of 25th Avenue NE.
Great Falls Fire Rescue says the fire is now under control.
There are no reports of any serious injuries.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
