GREAT FALLS — Great Falls College-MSU’s Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting students, as well as several community health organizations, will host the annual "No Smile Left Behind Community Dental Day and Health Fair" on Saturday, February 29 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The event will consist of free teeth cleanings and extractions, and educational health booths. Teeth cleanings will be available to both adults and children. Extractions will be available only to adults and performed by volunteer dentists.

Rebecca Cochran, one of the students in the dental program, says they want to help out the community: “Because we live in a city where we’re a little bit lower on the income scale, and we are getting the medical need to people who would otherwise couldn’t afford it."

The free health fair, hosted by partners from Healthy Lives, Vibrant Futures will run from 9 a.m. to noon, and will include interactive and preventive healthcare vendors.

The event is free and open to the public. There will be no scheduled appointments as it is held on a first-come, first-served basis. Last walk-ins will be taken at 2:30 p.m.
