GREAT FALLS — The Great Falls Development Authority will host a public forum on Tuesday to solicit input for development along the Urban Missouri River Corridor.

The GFDA said in the event listing:

We are looking for business ideas that utilize our Urban Missouri River Corridor! Want to do a party boat? Dinner cruise? Paddle board rentals? Food truck court? Bring your ideas! The Missouri River Corridor Pitch Fest is an evening sharing, discussing, and supporting business on and along the Missouri River. What do you want to open? How do you want to help? What is missing? We want to connect ideas with people who can make them happen. We’ll bring business coaches, financial professionals, and others – you bring ideas! An RSVP is not necessary, but is strongly encouraged!

GFDA spokeswoman Jolene Schalper said, "Our river corridor is widely underutilized, especially when it comes to business ideas. Many of us have been to other communities, communities our size, that have evening river cruises, that have booze cruises, that have paddleboard rentals and kayak rentals right on the river."

The event will be at MT Pints (formerly Big Mouth BBQ) located at 215 3rd Street NW. It will begin at 6 pm and run through 8 pm.

For more information, call Schalper at 406-750-4481.
