(UPDATE) The fire was in an attic at 2201 Seventh Avenue North. The call came in at 2:22 pm, and Engine 3 was the first GFFR apparatus to arrive at the scene at 2:25 pm
Firefighters found a light haze coming from the attic of the house.
Crews had a difficult time gaining access to the attic, but once they were able to do so, they were able to quickly extinguish the fire and remove the smoldering insulation.
The extent of damage to the house was limited to a few trusses in the attic.
There were no reported injuries.
The cause of the fire was determined to be electrical in nature.
(1st REPORT) Emergency crews are at the scene of a reported structure fire in Great Falls.
Great Falls Fire Rescue said just after 2:30 p.m. that the fire is located in the vicinity of Seventh Avenue North and 22nd Street.
There is no word at this point on the scope of the fire, or whether anyone has been injured.
People are asked to avoid the area to allow emergency vehicles clear access.
