BILLINGS – Dinosaurs once roamed Montana, and they came back to Billings this weekend.

Jurassic Quest brought life-size models to the MetraPark Expo Center.

The replicas help give an idea of what the animals might have been like.

This is the largest traveling dinosaur exhibit, and it was last in Billings in 2016.

Fossils also help with the education of dinosaurs.

Jurassic Quest draws big crowds all over the country.

“It’s such a fascination for all of us,” said Angela LeBlanc, a representative of Jurassic Quest. “We see the movies and we read about them. But we don’t really know what it’s like. Spinosaurus was the largest carnivore to walk the planet. We at Jurassic Quest want to in some way bring reality to what we believe it was like.”

Jurassic Quest ran until 8 p.m. Saturday night, and the dinosaurs made one more appearance on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m..
