MISSOULA — Authorities have identified Sheri Linn Donica of Helena as the woman who died in a Wednesday crash east of Missoula.
Granite County Sheriff Scott Dunkerson says Donica, 67 years old, died as a result of blunt force trauma in the crash between Drummond and Missoula on I-90.
At 8:53 a.m., emergency personnel were dispatched to the crash near mile marker 135 on Interstate 90, west of Drummond.
Dunkerson says that Donica was not wearing a seat belt, and was thrown from her vehicle by the force of the crash and died at the scene.
Speed and icy road conditions were apparent contributors to the crash, Sheriff Dunkerson noted in a news release.
There is no indication of speeding or impaired driving.
