HAVRE — Edward Jones in Havre is once again partnering with Toys For Tots to provide area children with presents under the tree this Christmas.

While COVID-19 has posed many challenges this year, the Havre area Toys For Tots organizer Jennifer Tilleman tells us that, regardless of the pandemic, there is no shortage of generosity coming from the community.

Tilleman said, “We definitely anticipated some hurtles this year with COVID-19. I thought we'd possibly not only see more families in need, but also the probability that we might have less donations. We did start off a little bit slow this year, but once again I'm proud to say that Havre has stepped up to the plate and is doing a good job of taking care of their community.”

Tilleman also told us that after three years of organizing the event in Havre, the process has become much smoother, with the ability to keep the toys they receive as donations local. Any monetary donations made locally are handled by the coordinator, located in Great Falls, and in turn used to purchase more toys that go to local children.

This year many businesses are hosting drop off boxes for toys. If you would like to donate a toy, you may bring a new, unwrapped toy to any of the businesses listed below. The deadline to donate a toy is Monday, December 14th.
