Shirl LaMon Francom, better known as Kermit, age 79, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at the BeeHive Assisted Living Home after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Kermit was born on January 13, 1940 to Wilbur and Nola Francom in Tremonton, UT. He married his wife, Phyllis on November 25, 1961 in Great Falls. He served in the U.S. Navy for two years. He worked at the Anaconda Company for 17 years and the Belt School for 17 years as the head maintenance engineer, as well as working as a brick layer. Several of his masonry projects can still be seen in the Belt area.

He had a soft spot for any dog but especially toy poodles. He was an avid Belt Husky fan, never missing a game, and the players knew he was there rooting for them.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Belt Community Church on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. followed by a luncheon.
