GREAT FALLS — A power outage is affecting hundreds of people near Great Falls.
NorthWestern Energy confirmed the outage at 2:03 p.m. on Sunday.
In a Facebook post, the utility company said: "We are aware of the ouages in the Vaughn and Power areas. First responders with be heading that way. Thank you for your patience."
According to the NorthWestern Energy website, the outage is affecting about 1,040 customers in/around Vaughn, and another 87 customers in/around Power.
We have also received reports that some people in the Sun Prairie area have lost power.
There is no word yet on the cause of the outage, nor an estimated repair time.
