Heavy snow and wind created treacherous travel for many areas of Montana on Friday, but this weekend will be kinder with sunshine and warmer temperatures. General hunting season opens on Saturday, and there will be fresh snow in the mountains. It will be a little wet and sloppy as well as the snow melts. Saturday will be partly to mostly sunny. Highs will top out in the 40s and low 50s. Sunday will also have a lot of sunshine, but some clouds will increase around the East Glacier area. Highs will be a little cooler, in the 30s and 40s. The wind should be light. The workweek will start off partly cloudy and cool with highs in the 40s to around 50. A minor storm is possible on Tuesday with a little rain and snow, mainly over the southern half of Montana.

Have a great weekend,

Curtis Grevenitz
