Overall less wind is on tap Thursday with slightly cooler air settling in.

A few lingering mountain flurries are possible but very little accumulation is expected.

The wind will pick back up on Friday as a healthy high pressure ridge builds over the state.

Between the high pressure and strong winds, daytime high temperatures will once again climb well into the 40s.

The warm and windy conditions will last though Saturday before a cold front slides trough the state later in the day.

This incoming cold front will help to drop temperatures back to the 30s for most on Sunday.

We'll remain cooler next week with the possibility of flurries returning on Wednesday.
