GREAT FALLS — Ahead of Super Bowl Sunday, businesses throughout Great Falls are gearing up for the demand for services.

Smoked American BBQ is one of the businesses that offered a catering service to football fans for the big game. Offering everything from the likes of its famous mac 'n cheese to smoked brisket. A taste of true American culture on an American holiday.

Trevor Cavanagh is the owner of the BBQ joint; he and his team are well-staffed and ready for an influx of pre-orders and late orders. He anticipates a sell-out Saturday. Customers can pick up their orders and receive warming instructions for Sunday, allowing any sports fan to enjoy the game.

“I love Super Bowl weekend and what I love about Super Bowl weekend is it's an American holiday and I like all the different types of foods. Whether you're doing, you know, big, huge sandwiches or you're doing chicken wings or you're doing pizza or you're doing tacos. I like the diversity. I like being able to go in and get a little bit of everything. It's one of those days where I probably eat more than I would at Thanksgiving just because there's such a variety of food., I think it's fun. I think it's a good slice of America and it represents a lot of regions.”

Across town, Stadium Sports Bar and Casino is adding extra staff, preparing more food, and pouring more beer ahead of the game. The bar is a premier location to watch any sporting event. Saturday night it hosted an Arm-Wrestling event. Sunday, it’ll be the host of a Super Bowl watch party.

Billy Komeotis is the Kitchen Manager; he says that a typical football Sunday tradition will be enhanced as the restaurant amps up its chili operation. Football fans will have the opportunity to enjoy anything chili – chili dogs, chili burgers, chili fries – chili, chili, chili.

“Just working together as a team and getting the food out, get the drinks to people and making them comfortable while they're here, you know? It’s having things ready and working together and getting things done… we do a good job working together and making sure everyone gets taken care of,” Billy explained.

The Super Bowl kicks off at 4:30 pm and will be aired on Fox.

Smoked American BBQ is closed for Super Bowl Sunday but will reopen again Monday to fulfill that hankering for BBQ. Stadium Sports Bar and Casino will be open until 2 am on Sunday for the Super Bowl.
