At 1050 PM MDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from 23 miles northwest of Augusta to 8 miles
northwest of Cascade to 20 miles southeast of Wolf Creek. Movement
was northeast at 35 mph.
Winds in excess of 30 mph, frequent lightning, brief heavy rain, and
pea size hail are possible with these storms.

Great Falls, Choteau, Cascade, Fairfield, Augusta, Fort Shaw, Fort
Shaw, Power, Black Eagle, Pishkun Reservoir, Eden, Vaughn, First
Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park, Sun River, Tower Rock State Park,
Bynum, Ulm, Pendroy, Farmington and Simms.
Those attending the Montana State Fair in Great Falls are in the
path of these storms and should prepare for the expected weather
conditions.
