Owen Skornik-Hayes joined KRTV as a Multimedia Journalist in July of 2022.
Prior to coming to Great Falls, Owen lived in Eugene, Oregon for 15 years, and attended the University of Oregon (SCO DUCKS!!!). Owen graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Art’s degree in Journalism and a minor in Anthropology.
Prior to moving to Eugene when he was eight, Owen grew up in New Orleans. He still visits his family there every year, either during football season, or crawfish boil season. Laissez les bon temps roulez!
In his free time, Owen likes going on hikes, practicing his French, enjoying street food, reading, bar-hopping, and playing basketball. He would like to learn how to fly-fish and take advantage of world-class fishing for however long he’s here.
